At Home with eBay + Date Protein Shake Recipe

Today I’m sharing a favorite protein shake we make using dates in our Blendtec! It’s sweet, low in fat and delicious. I adapted the recipe by adding extra protein and a few strawberries. This is so easy to make! I also like to take the leftovers and freeze it. Then scoop it out like ice-cream the next day. Yum!

Date Protein Shake Recipe:

Ingredients:

1 cup cold, unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup Pitted Dates, I get mine at Trader Joe’s
1 1/2 medium frozen bananas

1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 teaspoons Almond Butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla paste
10-12 ice cubes

Directions: 

Add all the ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth. Makes 2 adult portions or 4 kid portions. Tip:sometimes I add unsweetened coconut flakes and a handful of strawberries to mine. Also, if you need extra protein you can add and extra 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder.
