Hi! I hope everyone had a great week. Each weekend I’m planning to do a recap of our week. Welcome to week one! I swear it seems like every 3 days I say “wait, it’s already Friday? How did that happen?” Our lives move at a rapid pace and most days I feel like I’m treading water just trying to catch my breath (I’m sure there’s a doctor for this;)).
Avery & Poppy –normally I would give them their own paragraph, but between school and field hockey tryouts they seemed to be on the same schedule this week. I even made them sleep in the same bed due to the neighborhood break-ins. They are both such a huge help to me. Without asking. I don’t ever want them to feel like I depend on them to help take care of Goldie and Ozzy, because I don’t. I let them be teenagers. It’s just nice to see them want to help, especially with Ozzy.
Goldie- well Goldie slept in my bed all week and she loved it, maybe a little too much. We watched TV and ate popcorn at night after her regular bedtime. I loved it too. We have these neighbor boys Goldie likes to play with. One of them is only 3, but you’d never know it the way she talks about him. I love that she includes everyone and just wants to have a good time wherever she is.
Ozzy- still teething. Crawling everywhere! I’ve removed rocks, lint, a french fry, paper, my shirt, etc from her mouth. Still the biggest gummy bear smile all day long.
