It’s no secret how important skincare is to me! Taking proper care of my skin has been engrained in me since I can remember. When you grow up in a home with a father who is a dermatologist, you are taught early on that proper skincare is just as important as eating healthy. I tend to use 1 or 2 products from a variety of brands, as shown in my ANTI-AGING post. However, you’ll notice I list several from SkinCeuticals and have remained loyal to their line for about 5 years!
SkinCeuticals is a brand dermatologists and plastic surgeons recommend to their patients and for good reason..they work! A couple of weeks ago I was invited to Newport Plastics in Newport Beach, California for a Triple Lipid Facial. It was my first in-office SkinCeuticals treatment. Being able to talk about SkinCeuticals and ask questions to their esthetician was really nice. Even though I myself am a licensed esthetician, I loved hearing another professionals opinion and product recommendations.
Here is a list of the Top 5 SkinCeuticals products recommended for my skin type:
Dry & Aging – these products can be used for all skin types.
Triple Lipid Restore: 2:4:2
This incredible product won the Allure Breakthrough Award in 2016 and has arguably remained the best corrective cream on the market! I personally love to use this at night after I use a retinol. Also, I’ve noticed it cuts down on the dryness often caused by retinoids. Triple Lipid Restore is great for dry, aging skin!
Phloretin CF Gel or CE Ferulic (has literally won every beauty award):
Both are a daytime topical vitamin C. They help with discoloration and getting that glow women lose as they age. If you haven’t tried either of these, they are amazing!
This is a new product to me and highly recommended during my facial as a great exfoliator! I typically use a manual exfoliator like a scrub, so having a serum to exfoliate is new to me. My skin felt incredibly soft after.
I have used this for a couple of years and swear it’s the best eye cream! Tip: always pat your eye products into your skin. The eye area has delicate skin, so avoid any rubbing, tugging or pulling on the skin.
Hydration is a key element for every skin type. As you age, you lose the moisture in your skin which can be replaced by hyaluronic acid. I use this every day at night! Also, on nights I use retinol, I use this after I apply my retinol and before my Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2!

I have the dryest, tightest skin in the winter and I’m willing to try anything that will help it! It’s a little pricey but the reviews are amazing. I’d rather pay more for something that actually works – thanks for the review!
