OREO ICE CREAM RECIPE:

The key is to make sure your ice cream maker drum has been in the freezer AT LEAST 40-72 hours.

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • pinch salt
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 6 Oreo’s. I used Gluten Free
  1. In a medium bowl, use a hand mixer on low to medium speed to combine the milk, sugar and salt until the sugar is dissolved. Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla.
  2. Turn on the Cuisinart® ice cream maker; pour the mixture into the frozen freezer bowl and let mix until thickened, about 25-30 minutes. About 10-15 in add your crushed Oreo’s. The ice cream will have a soft, creamy texture. If a firmer consistency is desired, transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and place in freezer for about 2 hours.
