Something you may not know about me is my lack of commitment when it comes to home decor. I can shop all day for clothes, shoes and accessories but when it comes to our home I either stress about making a large purchase due to commitment issues or I buy more affordable items I won’t mind donating after I’m over it. To be honest I am “over it” quick because I don’t love a lot of home decorations. I joke with Jeff that if I had it my way, I’d live with stark white bare walls, a couch, a comfortable bed and a giant dumpster out front to throw everything else away.
Obviously living with 5 others I have to adapt and consider their wants/needs as well. The kids often want to update their bedrooms. They mostly choose items from Urban Outfitters as shown here in Poppy’s TEEN ROOM post. I tend to check out CB2 first. Both are favorites of ours.
Easy Ways to Update Your Home Decor
