My thoughts on COVID-19

With all the unknown going on in the world, I will continue to try and keep things normal around here. I am very aware of COVID-19, we have a case very close in our community. I check the CDC a couple times a day for updates and have had my fair share of panic induced freak-outs. Right now we are staying home best we can and leaving to grab things we need like essentials or enjoy fresh air on a walk or hike. I will continue to work and also continue to support the brands and retailers who also need support. 

 I plan to post how we are staying busy at home once we get into a groove. And I don’t feel a sense of urgency to put my kids on a strict schedule of homeschool. I’m letting them sleep longer and spend more time on FaceTime with their friends, basically just trying to keep the home more peaceful 🙂 I am having the girls think of new people each day to reach out to and make sure they have what they need. So this is a great time to teach our kids to serve others and a good reminder for us as adults to help those outside our own home.

The one thing I have implemented is more music. Avery and Poppy play the guitar and Goldie the piano. They have each been asked to practice  up to 30 mins a day. To my surprise they are all playing much longer than 30. I love the sound of the girls guitars playing Ed Sheeran while they sing along. It brings a sense of calmness to our home.

Like I said I will continue to post and continue to support the retailers we love! So thank you for being here.
