Oh man, the sale of all sales is almost here! It’s almost embarrassing how excited I get for the NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE. I get butterflies and stay up until midnight for EARLY ACCESS so I can shop everything I want before the best of the sale sells out! I then spend the next 3-4 hours linking everything for the site that I love and think you will too! If you’re not sure what the hype is behind the Nordstrom Sale here’s the deal: Every July for 3 weeks Nordstrom releases 100’s of items for fall at 30-40% off! This year the sale starts with early access on July 12th and ends on August 5th. After the 5th of August, the sale prices end and items are full price again.
Tips to SHOP the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2019
- If you don’t already have a Nordstrom credit/debit card, now is the time. Why? Having a Nordstrom card allows you EARLY ACCESS to shop the sale before it opens to this public. This means you can shop the sale on July 12th! If not, the sale opens on July 19th.
- If you don’t want to open a credit card, no worries! You can sign up HERE for a Nordstrom Rewards Card. It’s FREE and grants you early access to the sale! Bonus, you’ll get a $60 Nordstrom Note you can use during the sale or save it for later!
- Stock up on BEAUTY! Fashion trends come and go but BEAUTY products are year-round staples.
- Besides stocking up on some of your favorite beauty items, it’s also a great time to try new products and devices.
- If you are like me and dislike going to the mall and also like me and super impatient to wait for shipping, the best tip is to place your order online and then pick up your purchase at the curb side pick-up. They will literally bring everything to your car..it’s a game changer!

After speaking with Nordstrom Customer Service, they confirmed that the Rewards card without the credit card does NOT grant early access to the NSALE.

I shop every year early with the Rewards card without the credit card! Weird they would say that.
The email I received as a cardholder notes that early access starts at 12:30 pm ET on July 12th. So looks like we can’t shop at midnight or in the early hours of the morning anymore. With the early access starting later in the day, I really hope that they have prepared for all the traffic on the website. There have been issues with that the past few years and orders didn’t go through. Definitely looking forward to this sale as always!
