Weekly Update
JEFF & LISA:
Did you see my story last night? We’ve been working on the backyard, it’s a major hill and we’ve had a bobcat for 2 weeks removing dirt. With all the rain, there has been a delay. With that, Jeff and his assistant Domingo made some bike jumps for Jeff. Haha, I only showed little clips of it. What I wish I had shown was Domingo shaking his head at the idea, then once Jeff starts riding Domingo was so excited watching Jeff. Moving things around, adding/taking away dirt. He was totally on board.
I mentioned in our CASUAL COUPLES GUIDE TO VALENTINE’S DAY that we are headed to Mammoth with the kids for Valentine’s Day. We’ve had this planned for a couple of months and just last night I finally sat down and ordered everyones ski clothes! I was so last minute, I ended up ordering most from Amazon Prime..haha! Kids are expecting awesome outfits based on links they sent me weeks ago when I should have ordered..they are getting anything I could find with good reviews!
AVERY & POPPY:
Both girls are gearing up to start a new season of lacrosse for Poppy and track & field for Avery. Poppy is still playing school field hockey, with all the rain California has received they have cancelled the past 4 games and all practices. Both girls got through finals and feel great about it! They are so excited to snowboard this week! Jeff was a snowboard instructor in college, so the girls cannot wait to learn from him. Over the weekend we were invited into the Fashion Island lululemon to pick up some new pieces for spring sports. The Fashion Island team is a dream! Also, they are all so helpful and kind, plus their newly built location is the 2nd largest in the country..it’s unreal!! See what the kids picked out below.
GOLDIE & OZZY:
Goldie performed in the weather show at school. This is the performance she tried out for a lead part and didn’t get. She was bummed for about a day. After the show on Friday I asked her how she thought the girl who got the lead did. Her response ” Oh, I loved her performance!” I love that so much about Gold, she supports everyone! Even though she really wanted that part, she was so kind about it. Then there is Ozzy, man alive..she is giving me a run for my money. She is as sweet as they come and also incredibly bossy, showing signs of those testy 2’s. I cannot believe she will be 2 in just a few weeks.
