You know what I love? Holiday parties. Do you know what I dread? Finding something to wear for a holiday party. I have a hard time spending money on pieces I’ll only wear once. My advice when buying a dress or outfit for this years holiday gathering, get something versatile! This METALLIC dress can be worn a couple different ways: with a nice HEEL (as shown), with a bootie (loving THIS and THIS) and with a pair of JEANS (either tucked or out). 
Here are a few holiday party tips:
Unless the invite says to wear a dress, you can totally wear a nice TOP and JEANS. You can also wear LEATHER or VELVET pants.
Pick one hero piece. This means don’t go crazy and wear a sparkly dress with sparkly shoes and statement earrings, necklace, bracelets, etc. You know what I mean. We’ve all seen the partygoer arrive wearing every trend, all in one outfit. Don’t be that girl. One hero piece that stands out and keep the rest somewhat neutral.
You can never go wrong wearing a BLACK dress.
Don’t be afraid to wear a BOLD lip. A fun pop of color on your lips gives the idea that you put some extra time into getting ready. My top 3 bold lips are: NARS – URBAN DECAY – SMASHBOX
If you know you can’t wear a tall heel longer than one hour, go for a BLOCK heel! I swear you can hang all day and night in them.
Most importantly, don’t overthink it!
