I absolutely love that all the brands from my teenage years are resurfacing for my own teens! A few months ago I shared a You Might Have Been A 90’s Teen If.. post HERE. Russell Athletics is the latest brand to make a comeback for Avery and Poppy and I love it. Here’s something I’ve learned, if you want to know what brands are cool again for kids, check Urban Outfitters! It’s a store I shopped at when I was their age and it’s a shop I still buy more than half of my clothes from.
Avery and Poppy are loving the vibe of Russell Athletics sport to streetwear. The tops are cropped to hit the top of their high waisted JEANS and SHORTS without being too cropped. Also, the COLORS scream 90’s along with POLO style and ZIPPERS. Both girls were excited to add a couple of pieces from the collection for Back to School! I even showed them just how we posed back then..back to back, arms crossed! Just missing a ladder and splatter paint backdrop.:)
