Home appliances can be pricey, right? One place you may want to consider finding great products for your home is eBay! That’s right, from BLENDTECS to our favorite URBAN CULTIVATOR, BBQ TOOLS, DYSON VACUUMS...eBay has it all! Right now eBay is having an End of Season SALE on lots of great products. As I’ve mentioned before I love the Buy It Now option on eBay, no waiting to see if I won..instant winner with Buy It Now!
Today I’m sharing a favorite protein shake we make using dates in our Blendtec! It’s sweet, low in fat and delicious. I adapted the recipe by adding extra protein and a few strawberries. This is so easy to make! I also like to take the leftovers and freeze it. Then scoop it out like ice-cream the next day. Yum!
Date Protein Shake Recipe:
1 cup cold, unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup Pitted Dates, I get mine at Trader Joe’s
1 1/2 medium frozen bananas
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 teaspoons Almond Butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla paste
10-12 ice cubes
Add all the ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth. Makes 2 adult portions or 4 kid portions. Tip:sometimes I add unsweetened coconut flakes and a handful of strawberries to mine. Also, if you need extra protein you can add and extra 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder.
Have you heard of an Urban Cultivator? We bought this when designing our kitchen. You can grow herbs indoors and they come out perfectly every time! It’s awesome for wheat grass and micro greens.
Another favorite you can find on eBay are DYSON Vacuums! We have both CORDLESS and an UPRIGHT. The best! Finding them on eBay is a great way to save money. Many have been refurbished and have great reviews!

Love this! What protein powder would you suggest for girls 5-8 years old?
Where is this top from? LOVE it.
This sounds delish! I do a very similar date shake with 1 (2 small) honey crisp or pink lady apples and add a bit of cinnamon instead of banana. Can’t wait to try yours! Thx! I love your recipe shares. Every one I have tried is ??
