Easy Kid Friendly Halloween Treats & A MacKenzie-Childs Halloween Table

If you know our family, you know Halloween is a major event over here! Coming up with Halloween costumes to out-do the previous year is something Poppy and Goldie really look forward to. Poppy loves special effects makeup and over the years has created some pretty intense looks. This year wins! Last week I asked in THIS post for you to guess what Goldie would be this year. Lots of Brittany Spears, CardiB, Drake..which are all great guesses. However, this year we went with Gollum from Lord Of The Rings! Goldie and Poppy haven’t seen the movie, but Goldie is literally up for anything we want to create with her! This costume is hands down the absolute best to date.

Today I’m sharing easy Halloween treats as well as a Halloween tablescape with MacKenzie-Childs. 

Easy Kid Friendly Halloween Treats

Finding simple Halloween treats for kids to create is really fun! They love to be involved and it keeps them busy! The girls made boxed chocolate cupcakes and decorated them using frosting, a red decorating gel pen and some edible axes & knives we found via Target. They also took Reees’s PB Cups turning them into bats using edible eyes and Oreos. How simple is that?! I linked a ton of fun ideas on my PINTEREST account so be sure and check it out!

Another fun idea for Halloween that kids absolutely love are mocktails? We created a really simple mocktail the whole family loved using sprite, a drop (just one) of green food dye and grenadine filled in a plastic syringe. So clever, right?! Goldie loved squeezing the fake blood (grenadine) into her magic potion drink. I have to admit, I did too!
